Let me present a very very classic case of how talented they are:
FT: "So you do step 1 first, wait 30 mins. Whether it succeeds or fail, proceed to step 2"
Me: "So, if step 1 doesn't need to be successful before we do step 2, why must we wait?"
FT: "Uhh.. "
Me: "Can we do step 2 first then we do step 1 immediately, since they aren't dependent?"
FT: "No, must do step 1 first"
Me: "But you said step 1 pass or fail, proceed to step 2. So why must it be in this order if the success status is irrelevant?"
FT: "..."
Me: (waits)
FT: "OK what should we do?"
Me: "Hey man, it's YOUR application, you're supposed to tell ME what to do"
Example 2:
I was given a file, RUNme.sh (Unix shell script). The work order says "FTP in BINARY mode". Ok so I FTP in Binary. I give it execution rights. I run it, it doesn't run, "RUNme.sh not found".
FT: "But the file is there!"
Me: "yup"
FT: "Check the rights"
Me: (shows the rights)
FT: "Change owner to root"
Me: "It's already owned by root"
FT: "Run it again"
Me: "ok" (runs the command again, fails again)
FT: (runs off to get help)
Me: (waits for abt 45 mins)
FT: "Ok the file is corrupted. We'll get a new one to you"
Me: "ok....."
What really happened - the file didn't run because it should have been transferred in ASCII mode. Any n00b would have known.

Haa yeah I know the show "I Not Stupid" lol. I didn't know you guys up north also can watch it.
As for Miss Loi, I don't know her personally.. but you hor, wa lau eh, her blog is PG rating one lah... got small kids as young as 13 yr old go there lei... why you think she dun wanna answer your problems?..
