Lame leh. Where got people say "Former creator" one?

Ya lor. I think it's purposely there to mislead pple, and I fell victim to it too. I thought it was Advertlets who did it but now it's clear that it's someone else and not them.

Or maybe he thinks that by saying he created Advertlets, will give him more credibility when he launches ping.my? who knows...

I think what DK meant was that there's no such thing as a former creator. If you're the creator, you're the creator. You might have created it long ago, but you are still the creator.

    :P

precious - can still happen mah. He created it, then it got wiped out. Then another fella come and create a new version.

Hence, he was the "former creator" lor... MUAHAHAHA!

Ok I'm kidding. Anyway my brain not with me this week... I'm RODing!!

i think it is an infringement of trademark... ping.sg is now almost famous in the region. Despite of the td difference and the apparent words that it is not registered by uzyn, some naive internet users may misled into thinking that uzyn has approved or is doing a ping.my specific for malaysia...

muzeek - well since I'm no legal expert, I will just wait and see what happens next, and see if it actually launches. I'm just curious and surprised to see the domain so quickly registered, and not by uzyn...

Morally it is ripping ping.sg off. But unless Uzyn explicitly registered ping.sg as a trademark and has had it approved, no legally recognised infringement has occured.

And former creator is just lame.

Uzyn doesn't have to register ping.sg as a trademark from my understanding. As long as the future operations/concept of ping.my is similar to ping.sg and there is proof that there are users who get confused over the 2 websites, he may be able to put forward a case. And since ping.sg has been around for quite sometime, Uzyn can register it as a trademark already..

And I agree that the former creator is lame too...
